Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Representative to serve the Shreveport/Bossier City market. This is a commission-based opportunity for a motivated salesperson who knows how to generate business, work directly with homeowners, and manage the roofing sales process from initial contact through estimate and project approval.

This is not an entry-level sales position. Previous roofing sales experience is required.

You will have the flexibility to build your own schedule and manage your territory, but success in this role requires consistent prospecting, including door-to-door sales, following up with leads, and building relationships throughout the community.

Responsibilities

• Generate new roofing opportunities through door knocking, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up
• Meet with homeowners to discuss roofing needs and potential storm damage
• Have knowledgeable conversations with homeowners regarding the insurance claim process
• Safely access and inspect residential roofs
• Take measurements, document damage, and prepare roofing estimates
• Photograph and document roof conditions as needed
• Present roofing options and estimates to homeowners
• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers
• Maintain communication throughout the sales and project process
• Build relationships and generate referral business throughout the Shreveport/Bossier market
• Manage your own schedule, leads, and sales pipeline

Requirements

• Previous roofing sales experience required
• Experience with door-to-door or canvassing sales
• Comfortable discussing roofing insurance claims with homeowners
• Ability and willingness to climb ladders and safely get on roofs
• Experience inspecting roofs and gathering information for estimates
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Schedule

This position is 100% commission-based with significant earning potential. Successful representatives can earn upwards of $200,000 per year, depending on individual sales production.

There is no traditional 8-to-5 schedule. Representatives are responsible for building and managing their own schedules based on customer availability, prospecting activity, and sales opportunities.

The company is headquartered in Shreveport, LA, with sales activity throughout the Shreveport/Bossier City market.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate already understands roofing sales and doesn't need to be taught how to prospect. You should be comfortable knocking doors, talking with homeowners about insurance-related roofing projects, getting on roofs, developing estimates, and turning opportunities into signed jobs.
