Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This is a direct opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, and helping keep production running efficiently.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Training: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay

• Competitive pay based on experience

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Install, modify, and repair production equipment
• Operate maintenance shop equipment including welders, grinders, drill presses, and saws
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and modifications
• Troubleshoot PLC-related equipment issues
• Operate forklifts and aerial/scissor lifts as needed
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation
• Assist with spare parts inventory and ordering
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Forklift and lift equipment experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAP experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, and kneel throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, dust, noise, and moving machinery
