CNC Machine Operator

Located in Colorado Springs, CO

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 p.h. DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and general hand tools for finishing of metal materials .  This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce metal components per specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and finish requirements.

• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programming as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.

• Work closely with production and quality control teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines and brake press equipment.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and stand for extended periods.
