Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Facility Maintenance Specialist in Findlay, OH!
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically minded individual who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, organized, and operating efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, performing preventative maintenance, managing equipment, and working independently to get the job done right.
Key Responsibilities
Issue Identification & Resolution
- Identify facility, equipment, and maintenance issues
- Troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Complete minor repairs and maintenance as needed
- Communicate larger repair needs or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests
Preventative Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventative maintenance
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions to identify potential problems before they result in downtime
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Follow established preventative maintenance schedules
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, replacement parts, and equipment
- Maintain organized storage areas
- Track inventory levels and communicate when additional supplies or replacement parts are needed
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and completed repairs
- Document equipment issues and corrective actions
- Communicate outstanding maintenance concerns to management
- Complete required maintenance reports and checklists
Safety & Compliance
- Follow established workplace safety policies and procedures
- Identify and report potential safety hazards
- Use tools, equipment, and maintenance materials safely
- Help ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with company safety expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, building maintenance, or a related role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform general maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable working independently while also supporting a team
- Dependable attendance and strong time-management skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
