2nd Shift Supervisor

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Shift Supervisor for a local client. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily departmental operations, leading employees to meet production and performance goals, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise department employees on 2nd shift
• Ensure departmental goals, productivity targets, and quality standards are met
• Monitor workflow and make adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency
• Train, coach, and support team members
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments
• Complete reports, track productivity, and utilize computer systems as needed
• Address employee concerns and assist with problem-solving on the production floor
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience is required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for the entire shift
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly
• Ability to work extensive hours as needed
