Compensation: Base Pay + Commission

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a sales-driven Employment Specialist to win new business and connect local employers with qualified candidates. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on outbound calls, in-person prospecting, and consistent follow-through. You’ll create opportunities, build relationships, and turn conversations into business.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through cold calls, local business visits, and targeted outreach.
• Identify hiring needs, present staffing solutions, and secure new client partnerships.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and grow existing accounts.
• Recruit, interview, and match candidates with job opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and work toward sales and placement goals.

What You Bring

• Confidence initiating conversations by phone and in person.
• Initiative, persistence, and the ability to stay productive when prospects say no.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Comfort balancing sales activity with recruiting in a fast-paced office.
• Ability to travel locally for sales visits and job-site check-ins.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and ability to pass a typing assessment.
• English communication skills required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, & Excel is helpful.
