QC INSPECTOR

Location: Marietta, GA
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: B1 Shift (Red Team) | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3 Days On / 3 Days Off

Two paid 20-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Work Location: 100% onsite

Position Overview

This role is responsible for inspecting products, documenting results, identifying defects, and supporting overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing visual and dimensional inspections on molded products.
• Using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and pin gauges.
• Completing inspection documentation and data entry accurately.
• Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assisting with sorting and containment activities when quality concerns arise.
• Reviewing defects and communicating quality issues to production teams.
• Following all quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining organized work areas (5S).

This position plays a critical role in protecting product quality and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.

Technical Experience (Required)

• Experience performing visual inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Dial Indicators
  • Pin Gauges
• Comfortable working with measurements, specifications, and inspection standards.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and process documentation.

Manufacturing & Quality Experience

• Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience.
• Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records.
• Familiarity with defect identification and containment processes.
• Experience using microscopes or performing detailed visual inspections.
• Experience supporting production quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Baseline Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
• 100% onsite in Marietta, GA.
