Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paints and coatings to various surfaces and products, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to industry standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required.
• Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and consistency.
• Apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Inspect surfaces and finished work to ensure quality and uniformity.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in painting and coating is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial painting.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and the use of painting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and surface preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced coating technologies and materials.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in the painting industry.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
