Crane Operator

Pay: $17.00/Hour

Pay Schedule (eligible with good attendance/punctuality and following processes / procedures)

30-day evaluation = $1.00/hour increase

60-day evaluation = $1.00/hour increase

90-day evaluation = $1.00/hour increase

After first 90 days, associate could have an increase of $3.00/hour

Shift: 1^st shift Monday through Friday (7:00 AM- 3:00 PM)

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities of the Crane Operator:

• Operates traveling overhead crane to lift, move, and position racks and materials into the anodizing machine
• Manipulates crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement in a safe manner in accordance with verbal or signal instructions
• Selecting the correct tank for each of the racks that are being put through the machine
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications of the Crane Operator:

• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Must be able to speak English
• 3+ years of steady manufacturing experience 
• HS diploma or GED
