Job Title: 2nd Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator (Evaluation-to-Hire)

Pay: $19.43/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor plastic injection molding machines
• Remove finished parts from machine dies and prepare them for packaging
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Use calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify product quality
• Identify, contain, and label defective products or scrap
• Perform secondary finishing operations such as trimming excess material
• Package and label products according to work orders and company procedures
• Complete production paperwork, inspection logs, and shift reports accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and plastic materials is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift
• Frequent use of hands, fingers, hand tools, and inspection devices
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 30–50 lbs occasionally
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
• Good eyesight required for inspections and quality checks
