Grounds Maintenance Tech

Located in Mount Horeb, WI

Salary: $18-$20/hour

We have an immediate opening for grounds crew member with a property management firm.  The firm is located in Mount Horeb, but the work would be performed in West Madison or Downtown.

 

This is a seasonal role, with potential for long term placement for the right candidate.

 

Duties:

Performs upkeep of grounds at West Side or Downtown facilities - no mowing- waters flower beds, weeding, planting, general cleanup on grounds and in parking garages.  Assists with basic apartment maintenance.

 

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to work outside and be on feet, standing, moving, lifting, bending frequently throughout the day
• Previous landscaping, construction, or carpentry experience preferred.

Hours: 7:30am-5pm M-Th, 4 hours shift on Saturday mornings for Downtown location

           7:30am-5pm M-F for West Side location

 

Pay: $18-$20/hr. based on experience

 

This is a seasonal role, expected to last into October.  With good performance and attendance, there is potential for hire into other opportunities.
