Our client, a local food manufacturing company in Ferndale, MI, is seeking qualified Packaging Associates to join their team!

Position Summary

Packaging Associates will be responsible for:

• Boxing finished products
• Filling bins with product
• Loading tubes
• Palletizing products
• Inspecting products to ensure they meet or exceed quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following all company safety and production procedures

Position Details

Location: Ferndale, MI
Position Type: Long-Term
Pay: $14.00–$15.00 per hour (Paid Weekly on Friday) 

 

Shifts Available

 

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Must be flexible with actual working days.

 

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Must be flexible with actual working days.

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to stand for entire shift

• Ability to work in a cold and wet environment (35–40°F) year-round

• Prior packing, box tape machine, and shrink wrap machine preferred

• Strong attention to detail and reliability
