Forklift III – Inventory (Day Shift)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Forklift III – Inventory team member to support inventory control, shipping, and receiving operations within a manufacturing facility. This role combines forklift operation with inventory tracking, product verification, reconciliation, and documentation to help maintain accurate and efficient warehouse operations.

Possible Schedule and Salary:

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Hours: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Wage: $23.58/hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and transfer products in and out of inventory
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely
• Verify pallet reports against production records
• Verify product types, item numbers, lot codes, quantities, remelt totals, and other inventory information
• Verify powder inventory and prepare powder loads
• Perform inventory reconciliation and help identify discrepancies
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
• Read and follow pick lists, order routes, and lot-tracking sheets
• Follow all GMP, safety, and quality assurance practices
• Backfill other shipping and receiving positions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Ability to accurately track inventory movement and product information
• Ability to learn and use computer programs associated with inventory management
• Understanding of incoming and outgoing products and materials
• Ability to perform inventory reconciliation and maintain accurate records
• Ability to understand pick lists, order routes, and lot-tracking sheets
• Effective communication skills to support safety, quality, and efficiency
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and continually changing manufacturing environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of related forklift, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required powered industrial equipment certifications
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment
• Ability to frequently lift and handle materials up to approximately 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, twist, climb, kneel, and perform physical material-handling duties throughout the shift
