Our client in North Liberty, IA is looking for a Construction General Laborers!

Position Summary: Looking for steady, long-term work in construction? Our client is seeking dependable Construction General Laborers to assist with a large construction project in North Liberty. This is expected to be a year-long assignment, with the possibility of lasting even longer, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants consistent full-time hours. This is a general construction labor position, so no two days will look exactly the same! You’ll work directly with the project superintendent and construction team, helping wherever needed to keep the jobsite organized, clean, safe, and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, move, and stage construction materials throughout the jobsite
• Assist with general construction cleanup, including removing debris and keeping work areas organized
• Load, unload, and relocate materials and supplies as needed
• Sweep, clean, and prepare work areas for different phases of construction
• Assist construction crews with basic labor and project-related tasks
• Follow instructions from the project superintendent and complete assigned tasks throughout the day
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site
• Perform other general labor duties as needed as the project progresses

Qualifications:

• Must be dependable and able to report to work consistently
• Must be comfortable working in an active construction environment
• Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, bending, standing, walking, and completing construction-related labor throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to follow directions and move between different tasks as priorities change
• Must be willing to help wherever needed — this position requires someone with a flexible, team-oriented attitude
• Previous construction or general labor experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are important

Hours:

• Monday–Friday
• Typically starting between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM
• Approximately 8-hour shifts
• This is a long-term project expected to last approximately one year or longer

Pay:

• $20/hour
