This position is responsible for delivering, unloading, and setting up furniture at customer locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physically demanding work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle and follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture at customer locations.
• Assemble and set up furniture as needed.
• Inspect items before delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Obtain delivery confirmations and required signatures.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse duties, inventory movement, and staging products when not making deliveries.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery discrepancies to management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery, moving, warehouse, or furniture handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull furniture weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy furniture.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions while making deliveries.
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
