Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region

The Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region is responsible for the successful Sales performance of their assigned region and stable sales growth in the defined region. (NYC, Long Island, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA and WV).  Applicant must reside in the territory. 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
  • Achieve regional sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and making recommendations to Director, North America Sales, for strategic plans and reviews.
  • Establish sales objectives by creating a yearly Business Development Plan and forecast for the region.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building rapports with key customers, networking with industry colleagues within the region and attending regional tradeshow events.
  • Recommend new product line additions by identifying new product applications and requirements.
  • Represents the interests of the Company and the Sales Department ensuring that the region’s sales functions are supported throughout the Company.
  • Update the Sales CRM on a daily base and report weekly to the Director, North America Sales, on forecasted sales.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to work with and as a Team.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds and 21+ pounds as a two-person lift.

Travel:

  • Must be able to travel within and outside of the region as needed. 

Required Traits / Skills / Abilities:

  • Proven and quantifiable sales track record.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Experience within the Contamination Control Industry is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, related software and computers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and personnel from various departments.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, talk and hear.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University is desired but not mandatory with a minimum four years of related industry experience and/or training.
