AutoCAD Drafter Needed in South Fort Worth! 

Pay: $26.00-30.00 per hour  

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:15 pm 

Location: South Fort Worth, TX

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter for a client company in South Fort Worth. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented drafter with experience in AutoCAD, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings. The selected candidate will create and revise electrical drawings supporting wiring harness production in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

AutoCAD Drafter Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Apply knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices when creating and revising drawings.
• Make drawing revisions based on engineering changes and manufacturing requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, connectivity, and required information.
• Assist Engineering and Manufacturing with drawing and documentation updates.
• Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and related documentation.
• Communicate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with established company and customer standards.
• Perform other drafting and engineering-support duties as assigned.

 

AutoCAD Drafter Qualifications

• 2+ of AutoCAD drafting experience
• Experience with with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and harness drawings or documentation
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
• High school diploma or equivalent — Required

Preferred Skills

• Electrical drafting and AutoCAD
• SolidWorks or other CAD software
• Aerospace manufacturing and wiring harness documentation
• Engineering change revisions and drawing updates
• Aerospace drawing standards and technical documentation
