Job Responsibilities

•  Plan, conduct, and oversee environmental assessments, site investigations, and remediation activities
• Collect and evaluate field data, including soil, groundwater, and other environmental samples
• Analyze analytical and survey data and interpret results
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals
• Work with project managers, clients, and regulators to keep projects on schedule and in compliance
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
• Mentor junior staff as experience allows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or another environmental field (environmental science, hydrology, or similar)
• Experience in environmental consulting or a closely related field
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
• Willingness to perform field work and travel to project sites as needed
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional licensure or progress toward it (PE, PG, or EIT/GIT)
• Experience with Phase I/II environmental site assessments, remediation, or regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with Mississippi regulatory programs and agencies
• Working knowledge of environmental data tools, GIS, or database software
• Health and safety training (such as 40-hour HAZWOPER)
