Marketing & Content Assistant – Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for turning company programming into engaging digital content that attracts viewers, promotes shows, and gives guests easy-to-share promotional materials. This role is ideal for someone creative, social media savvy, and comfortable producing content designed to capture attention quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create eye-catching thumbnails for shows, videos, and other digital content.
• Write compelling, click-worthy show titles using strong hooks that accurately reflect the content.
• Identify engaging moments from programming and edit them into short form clips for social media.
• Create shorts, reels, and other promotional video content for platforms such as YouTube and social media.
• Send guests their show clips and related promotional materials.
• Help promote programming in a way that increases engagement, views, and audience interest.
• Assist with additional marketing, social media, and content-related projects as assigned.
• Maintain consistent branding and quality across digital content.

Requirements:

• Creative with a strong eye for design, layout, and attention-grabbing content.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging titles and captions.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and what encourages viewers to stop scrolling and watch.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar editing/design programs.
• Understanding of YouTube and social media algorithms is strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently create thumbnails, edit shorts/reels, and develop engaging titles.
• Portfolio or examples of previous content creation work preferred.
• Open to recent graduates or college students whose schedules allow for full-time, on-site work.
• Extensive professional experience is not required if the candidate can demonstrate strong creative skills and examples of their work.

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time, on-site position
• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
• Pay may depend on experience, skill level, and demonstrated portfolio
