Pay: $20.00-$26.00/HR DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM | schedule may adjust to Tuesday-Saturday based on business needs

Lead Line Cook Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Lead Line Cook to help oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong line cook experience who can lead by example, maintain high food quality standards, and support kitchen efficiency during busy service periods.

Candidates with experience in line cooking, kitchen leadership, food preparation, restaurant operations, and high-volume food service are encouraged to apply.

Must-Haves

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Experience preparing fresh food to quality standards
• Previous line cook experience with leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to quality and presentation standards
• Assist with food prep, station setup, and daily production
• Support kitchen operations and help coordinate workflow during service
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and kitchen items
• Wash dishes and maintain clean work areas as needed
• Filter fryers and maintain kitchen equipment
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Train and support team members as needed
• Clean and organize stations throughout the shift

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong line cook experience
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and production schedules

Preferred Experience

• Lead line cook experience
• Restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
• High-volume food service experience
• Food preparation and kitchen operations experience
• Experience training or mentoring kitchen staff

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
