Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $21.00/Hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

 

Are you a people person who enjoys helping others and giving back to the community? We are looking for a Food Donor Coordinator to join a busy food bank warehouse and help make sure donated food gets where it is needed most!

 

What You’ll Do:

• Sort, pack, and organize donated food in a busy warehouse environment
• Stage food orders for local food banks and community agencies
• Help coordinate and direct volunteers throughout the warehouse
• Communicate with community agencies to help recruit and schedule volunteers
• Build positive relationships with volunteers, donors, and community partners
• Help keep the warehouse organized, clean, and running efficiently
• Assist with daily warehouse duties and food distribution activities

• Comfortable speaking with and coordinating groups of people
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to make phone calls and build relationships with local agencies to recruit volunteers
• Dependable, energetic, and willing to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working on your feet in a warehouse environment
• Previous warehouse, volunteer coordination, customer service, nonprofit, or community outreach experience is a plus
