We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator specializing in Narrow Isle Reach to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role involves operating specialized forklifts to efficiently handle, organize, and transport inventory within confined aisle spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. This position plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting overall distribution efficiency.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shifts: Monday-Friday

• Days 7am - 3pm,
• Afternoon 3pm - 11pm

Pay: $21.50hour + 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities

• Safely operate narrow aisle reach forklifts to pick, place, and transport inventory with precision in tight spaces
• Utilize order pickers and clamp trucks as needed to fulfill customer orders accurately
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Assist with order picking processes by accurately selecting items based on warehouse management system instructions
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to established safety protocols and ergonomic practices
• Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring inventory is correctly labeled and stored according to company standards
• Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to optimize workflow and reduce errors
• Keep detailed records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system for tracking and reporting purposes

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts, particularly narrow isle reach trucks, in a manufacturing/production environment
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Narrow Isle Reach with a valid license
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
• Familiarity with clamp trucks and order pickers for efficient order fulfillment
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards
• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
