Salary: $62,600 per year

Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a growing company that is 100% employee-owned.  They are looking for a Production Lead on first shift.

 

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Wage: $62,600/year

Shift: First M-F 5 AM - 1:30 PM - OT as needed

Job Duties:
Direct and lead the work of employees and handle administrative functions
• Lead/manage mfg. employees in accordance with management directives
• Hire and train employees
• Review production orders/schedules to ascertain data and specs of products to plan operations
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements
• Assist with mfg. engineer to help develop/recommend plant capital for safety, production and efficiency
• Provide leadership for the entire team and be back up for the production mgr.
• Allocate people/resources to match production needs

 

Qualifications:

• Must understand and be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements
• Leadership abilities and skills required
• Must possess a cooperative attitude
• Must be self-motivated and work without supervision
• Associates or bachelors degree in mfg., mfg. engineering, or related field - will consider commensurate experience
• 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Must be able to understand and execute instructions.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have a good understanding of the walk-in production process
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule and attend meetings as required
