We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Engineer Level III who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Assist with new model development and trial schedules by:

• Analyzing current scrap problems and manufacturing defects and developing potential solutions to control manufacturing costs.

• Providing technical insight regarding inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital investments to support reliable financial information.

• Participating in capital investment projects, including installation of new equipment and processes for new model development.

• Applying engineering specifications to meet production requirements and improve manufacturing processes.

• Evaluating and implementing new technologies to solve ongoing problems, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve product quality.

• Using current technology to evaluate manufacturing performance and ensure appropriate technology is being utilized to support profitability and quality.

• Providing technical support to production, process, and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

• Improving new model development through start-up activities, tooling design, process development, process simulations, robot programming, and process confirmation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of injection molding and robotics experience.

• Proficiency with CAD and 3D modeling.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Working Conditions

• General office environment: approximately 3 hours per day

• Manufacturing environment: approximately 5 hours per day

• Travel: approximately 3 days per month

• Availability for off-shift work may be required.
