Box Truck Driver (Regional)

Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Regional Routes
Requirement: Valid DOT Medical Card Required

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely and professional transportation of products throughout the region while ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage deliveries efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company box truck on regional delivery routes.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate records.
• Plan and follow assigned delivery routes to meet schedules and customer expectations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading, and unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely navigate regional routes and manage delivery schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent bending, reaching, climbing in and out of the truck, and material handling.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions during deliveries.
