Sorter - 1st Shift

Pay: $15.92 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

Position Overview

Join an industry leader in pallets, waste and recycling containers, supply chain solutions, and direct store delivery solutions. We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Sorters to support our warehouse and operations team. This role is responsible for sorting, inspecting, and organizing materials to ensure quality standards are met and products are prepared for distribution and recycling processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Sort pallets, containers, and recyclable materials according to company standards.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns.
• Separate materials by type, grade, or condition.
• Stack, stage, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling as needed.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, or operational concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, recycling, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
