QUALITY ENGINEER

We are hiring for a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality standards, support continuous improvement, and ensure company and customer quality requirements are met.

Job Details:

• Pay: $70,000–$100,000 per year

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures.

• Manage corrective actions using 8-D, 5 Why, and other problem-solving tools.

• Serve as the main customer contact for quality-related activities and issues.

• Prepare accurate PPAP submissions for customers.

• Participate in ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 internal and external audits.

• Facilitate continuous improvement activities.

• Develop and maintain control plans.

• Assist with PFMEA and process flow diagram development and maintenance.

• Support supplier evaluation and development activities.

• Work with project engineers on new project development.

• Develop inspection instructions and measurement methods for new jobs.

• Perform statistical capability studies and develop statistical monitoring.

• Evaluate process robustness.

• Apply GD&T techniques.

• Establish gauging requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with quality systems, problem-solving tools, and manufacturing processes preferred.
