Shift Lead

Located in Winona, MN

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

1st Shift Lead at local manufacturing facility 

• Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm
• $18.50-$25.00/hour  

This position oversees/manages 1st shift production employees & processes. We're looking for an experienced leader who has a passion for continuous learning, teamwork, creativity, implementation of improvement strategy!

You Will Spend Your Time:

• Prioritizing and coordinating all work activities of workers across multiple work centers. 
• Reviewing processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning capacity, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments
• Developing constructive & cooperative working relationships with others
• Monitoring performance of production cell co-workers & providing performance feedback
• Identifying training opportunities
• Training, mentoring, & encouraging co-workers' growth/development 
• Developing/implementing production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, QC, maintenance, & other operational reports to detect production problems.
• Participating with onsite customer audits as needed

We're Looking For:

• Supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment (required) 
• Ability to interpret Manufacturing Instructions, work instructions/procedures and forms. 
• Ability to learn manufacturing processes, procedure sand machinery. 
• Knowledge with Microsoft Office, query software, & enterprise resource planning software
