Injection Molding Operator

Located in Bristol, RI

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator to support daily operations within a fast-paced molding environment for a client in Bristol, RI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with injection molding, thermoplastic processing, machine setup, robotics, auxiliary equipment, and basic machine maintenance.

Location: Bristol, RI
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection molding machines efficiently for scheduled production jobs.
• Perform mold setups and thermoplastic processing.
• Operate injection molding machines, robots, auxiliary equipment, tumblers, and packaging equipment as required.
• Monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time, and raise concerns or issues as needed.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform heat treating and curing processes as required.
• Conduct quality inspections and complete inspection plans and reports to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions and established production procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of experience in injection molding, thermoplastic processing, machine setup, basic machine maintenance, and/or robotics operation.
• Hands-on experience operating various injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and meet production schedules.
• Ability to strictly follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to workplace cleanliness, FOD prevention, and 5S standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience required or preferred.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a production environment. The role requires the ability to remain attentive to machinery and production processes while following established safety procedures and quality standards.
