Experienced Handyman – Restaurant Maintenance

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Handyman/Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance and repair services at local restaurants. This position is ideal for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance
• Complete basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacements
• Perform minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Repair doors, locks, walls, ceilings, cabinets, and other fixtures
• Perform drywall repair, patching, caulking, painting, and touch-ups
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues reported by restaurant locations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Travel between local restaurant locations as needed
• Complete work orders and communicate updates to management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, construction, or related experience
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and customer-service skills
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Restaurant or commercial maintenance experience
• HVAC or refrigeration experience
• Experience working with preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various positions
• Ability to lift and carry tools and materials
• Comfortable working in active restaurant environments
