PRODUCT TECHNICIAN

Katy, TX
Pay: $21–$25/hour
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–12:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Product Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, mechanically/technically inclined, and experienced with troubleshooting production processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and production operations.
• Troubleshoot assembly, testing, equipment, and process issues.
• Assist with production line setups, tooling, fixtures, and equipment validation.
• Help identify root causes of production failures, defects, and downtime.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering builds.
• Maintain work instructions, SOPs, setup sheets, and other production documentation.
• Monitor production performance, including yield, cycle time, downtime, scrap, and rework.
• Assist with Lean/continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Train production employees on new processes, equipment, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing, process technician, production engineering, or similar technical experience
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical/technical aptitude
• Experience working with production equipment, tooling, and fixtures
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and process documentation
• Basic knowledge of root cause analysis and Lean Manufacturing
• Basic Excel skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 35–50 lbs.
• High school diploma/GED required; technical or engineering-related education preferred
