WAREHOUSE RECEIVING ASSOCIATE – 2ND SHIFT

Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Location: Brea, CA

 

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Receiving Associate to support second-shift receiving operations. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing, and staging incoming materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and system transactions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload incoming freight and safely move materials to designated staging or storage areas.
• Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other receiving documents.
• Confirm part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and warehouse locations.
• Inspect incoming materials and packaging for damage, shortages, overages, or incorrect products.
• Report inventory, product, or documentation discrepancies to warehouse leadership.
• Accurately complete receiving transactions using Epicor P21 or similar warehouse systems.
• Label and stage received materials for put-away or additional processing.
• Move materials to the correct warehouse locations.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving and staging areas.
• Communicate pending materials, incomplete receipts, and system issues during shift handoffs.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, or receiving documents preferred.
• Experience with Epicor P21, WMS, ERP, or similar warehouse systems is a plus.
• Forklift and pallet-jack experience preferred.
• Basic computer and handheld-scanner skills.
• Ability to accurately count, verify, and document materials.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to consistently work the assigned second-shift schedule.

PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and handle warehouse materials.
• Ability to lift and move materials according to job and safety requirements.
• Steel-toe or approved safety footwear is required.
• Must follow all PPE, warehouse traffic, forklift, and safety procedures.
