Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Drywall Installer/Finisher for a 1-week temporary assignment in the McAllen, TX area.
We are looking for a dependable and experienced drywall worker to help complete drywall work in several office spaces and suites. This is a short-term assignment for someone who can come in ready to work and help get the project finished on schedule.
Install and repair drywall as needed
Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels
Apply joint compound, tape, and finish drywall surfaces
Perform drywall patching and touch-up work
Sand and prepare surfaces for painting
Inspect completed work for quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow job-site safety procedures and instructions
Previous drywall experience is required
Experience with interior/commercial projects preferred
Ability to properly install, patch, tape, mud, and finish drywall
Reliable and dependable
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be available to work the full 1-week assignment
Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day
Indoor office and suite spaces. Candidates should be comfortable working around drywall materials, tools, ladders, and other construction equipment.
