CNC Machinist – Multiple Experience Levels

Located in Anaheim, CA

Salary: $19 - $23 / hour

Position Title: CNC Machining Opportunities – Operator, Set-Up, Lead and Programmer

 

Pay Range: $19–$29 per hour, depending on experience and position
Schedule: Multiple shifts available, Monday–Friday, with possible overtime
Locations: Anaheim, Fullerton, Yorba Linda and surrounding areas

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for multiple CNC machining opportunities. Available positions may include CNC Mill and Lathe Operators, Set-Up Technicians, CNC Leads and CNC Programmers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills, lathes and other machining equipment
• Set up machines, tools and fixtures as required
• Read blueprints, drawings and work instructions
• Make adjustments to offsets, speeds and feeds
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Verify first-run parts and sample workpieces
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Troubleshoot machining or quality issues
• Perform minor program edits when required
• Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area
• Communicate production status and issues between shifts
• Follow all safety, quality and production procedures

Requirements, Experience and Education:

• Previous CNC mill or lathe experience
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments
• Knowledge of machine set-up, tool changes and offsets may be required for advanced positions
• CNC programming experience may be required for programmer and lead positions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• English proficiency
• High school diploma or GED may be required depending on the assignment
