Express Employment Professionals is now hiring an HVAC Technician for an airport facility in the West Columbia, SC area! This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to support airport facilities and mechanical systems.

Job Title: HVAC Technician
Pay: $23.00–$29.00/hr
Location: West Columbia, SC

Job Summary:
Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, inspections, and operation of airport HVAC and related mechanical systems.

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, cooling towers, and ventilation equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC controls, sensors, alarms, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and required documentation.
• Respond to equipment issues, service requests, and emergency maintenance needs.
• Assist with general facility maintenance as needed.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, mechanical systems, and controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system issues.
• Ability to read schematics, building diagrams, and technical information.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 100 lbs.
