Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift

Location: Taylor, TX

A growing manufacturing company is hiring a dependable Crate Carpenter / Woodworker to build custom wooden crates used to safely package and transport fabricated parts and equipment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, crate building, or power tools who enjoys hands-on work and building products from measurements and drawings.

What You’ll Do

• Build and assemble custom wooden crates and shipping containers
• Measure, mark, cut, and dimension lumber and other materials
• Read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and cut lists
• Use saws, electric nail guns, drills, and other hand and power tools
• Measure accurately using a tape measure
• Perform woodworking, cutting, profiling, and assembly
• Prepare and finish completed crates for shipment
• Handle and move materials throughout the work area
• Inspect finished crates for proper dimensions and quality
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Previous carpentry, woodworking, construction, crate building, or similar hands-on experience
• Comfortable using power saws, nail guns, drills, and hand tools
• Strong tape measure and basic measurement skills
• Ability to follow blueprints, drawings, and cut lists
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Able to perform physical work and manual material handling
• Dependable and able to work Monday through Friday
