Welder Fabricator

Location: Cedar Park, TX
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift openings available
Day Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Available based on production needs; day shift may start as early as 5:00 AM or extend past 2:30 PM.

A growing manufacturing operation in Cedar Park, TX is hiring experienced TIG / GTAW Welders with a background in precision sheet metal welding. This is an excellent opportunity for welders experienced with thin-gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel fabrication.

TIG/GTAW welding experience is required and must be clearly shown on your resume.

What You’ll Do

• Perform TIG/GTAW and MIG welding on fabricated components
• Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
• Weld thin-gauge sheet metal down to 20 gauge / .036"
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Perform fit-up, tack welding, grinding, and your own weld finishing
• Perform spot welding, stud welding, and robotic welding as needed
• Drill, tap, countersink, and complete secondary fabrication work
• Install PEM hardware, rivet nuts, inserts, studs, and related hardware
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional and visual quality
• Complete production documentation and work orders accurately
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
• Support production goals and continuous improvement efforts

 

What We’re Looking For

• Previous TIG/GTAW welding experience – REQUIRED
• TIG/GTAW experience must be clearly listed on your resume
• MIG welding experience preferred
• Previous sheet metal welding experience
• Experience welding 20 gauge / .036" aluminum and/or stainless steel highly preferred
• Ability to perform your own grinding and finishing
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Experience with precision manufacturing or fabrication environments preferred

Important: This position is focused on precision sheet metal and thin-gauge welding rather than structural welding. Candidates whose experience is primarily structural welding may not be a match for this opening.
