Slip Sheet Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Slip Sheet Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move, load, unload, and stage products throughout the warehouse and shipping areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a slip sheet forklift and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate a slip sheet forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers.
• Move and stage products throughout the warehouse.
• Handle products using slip sheets instead of traditional pallets.
• Position and retrieve loads accurately from designated storage areas.
• Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate product placement and follow warehouse procedures.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse activities as needed.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous slip sheet forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift while maintaining awareness of people, equipment, and surroundings.

Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
