Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate for a full-time, 1st Shift warehouse opportunity. This position combines shipping and receiving, order picking, packaging, quality control, inventory handling, and data entry responsibilities.

We are seeking candidates with prior material handling or warehouse experience who can work accurately while maintaining a fast production pace. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to meet high-volume order-picking expectations.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently based on order requirements.
• Maintain a high-volume picking pace, with production expectations of 400+ items per day.
• Package completed orders and prepare products for shipment.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) checks to verify product, quantity, and order accuracy.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against receiving documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments.
• Sort, count, organize, and restock warehouse inventory.
• Stage completed orders and materials in designated shipping areas.
• Operate a manual pallet jack to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Use computer systems to document inbound and outbound inventory.
• Perform data entry related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and order processing.
• Assist with inventory counts and verify quantities using basic math skills.
• Identify and report inventory or order discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized and safe shipping and receiving area.
• Assist with additional material handling and warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with picking and packaging.
• Quality Control and/or data entry experience preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading materials.
• Comfortable using a computer to document inbound and outbound inventory.
• Ability to work toward a production expectation of 400+ picked items per day while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience using a manual pallet jack preferred.
• Basic math skills for counting, sorting, verifying quantities, and inventory-related tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Full-Time
