Salary: $25 -$35

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Welder with experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Shifts: Monday-Thursday ( Must be able to work both shifts)

Day shift: 5:00am-3:30pm

Afternoon shift:3:45pm-2:15am

Pay Rate : $25/hour - $35/hour ( based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and Flux Core welding to fabricate and repair metal structures according to detailed blueprints and schematics.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately to ensure precise assembly.
  • Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and hand tools to shape and prepare materials for welding.
  • Conduct rigging tasks to position heavy components safely during fabrication or installation processes.
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts, cranes, and machining tools to facilitate material handling and fabrication.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during welding or assembly processes.
  • Measure materials with calipers and other precision tools to meet exact specifications.
  • Assist in the assembly of ductwork, structural frameworks, or other fabricated components as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction activities.
  • Collaborate with team members across manufacturing or construction projects to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding within manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, rigging, machining, and assembly.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, calipers, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Familiarity with crane operation and forklift handling for material movement.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication.
  • Knowledge of ductwork installation or construction experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret schematics accurately while following safety standards diligently.
  • Prior experience working with schematics or technical diagrams related to manufacturing or construction projects is preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials as required.
  • Welding certification is required
