Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to handle deliveries throughout New Jersey and New York City. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving in NYC, managing delivery schedules, handling paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Deliveries may include trade shows, fashion shows, special events, and customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries throughout New Jersey and New York City.
• Transport materials for trade shows, fashion shows, special events, and customer orders.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while meeting deadlines.
• Review and maintain delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and team members using radio communication.
• Load, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Pick up company vehicles and depart early when required by delivery schedules.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Hours will vary based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Some deliveries may require early morning start times.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driving experience required.
• Experience driving in New York City required.
• Strong knowledge of NYC roadways, traffic patterns, and delivery routes.
• Ability to plan routes and adjust to changing conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card; company will cover the cost and certification process.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced delivery environment.
