Cabinet Builder – Assembly

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Cabinet Builder for a full-time, 1st Shift opportunity. This position focuses on assembling pre-fabricated cabinets using written instructions, basic hand tools, and power tools.

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined candidate with prior assembly experience who is comfortable working hands-on throughout the day. Previous cabinetry experience is a plus, but candidates with strong general assembly or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble pre-fabricated cabinets according to written instructions and specifications.
  • Read and follow assembly instructions to ensure cabinets are built correctly.
  • Use basic hand and power tools throughout the assembly process.
  • Operate drills, screwdrivers, staple guns, and similar assembly tools.
  • Position, align, fasten, and secure cabinet components.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit and overall quality.
  • Assist with moving, staging, and organizing materials as needed.
  • Support general material handling responsibilities throughout the work area.
  • Maintain an organized and safe workspace.
  • Follow established safety procedures and production expectations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous assembly experience preferred.
  • Previous cabinetry or cabinet assembly experience is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills.
  • Comfortable using drills, screwdrivers, staple guns, and other basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written assembly instructions accurately.
  • Material handling experience is helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining production expectations.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Shifts & Hours

1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Full-Time
  • Overtime as needed

Pay & Benefits

  • $18.00 per hour, dependent on prior experience.
