Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications to determine tooling requirements.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, grinders, mills, and EDM equipment, to fabricate tools, dies, fixtures, and precision components.
• Inspect finished tooling and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Perform tool maintenance, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to tooling, repairs, and manufacturing processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience operating manual and/or CNC machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements.
• Experience with tooling, die making, machining, or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
