Mechanical Designer

Located in White City, OR

Salary: $25-32 DOE

As a Mechanical Designer you will play a critical role in developing working drawings, manufacturing instructions, and innovative product designs. Collaborating with a diverse client base and internal teams, you’ll help refine existing designs and create new solutions using industry-leading software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed working drawings, including dimensions, materials, and manufacturing instructions.
• Collaborate with clients to design custom products and improve existing designs.
• Support quoting processes by creating accurate production drawings and estimates.
• Utilize software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel to create high-quality designs and documentation.
• Ensure designs align with fabrication processes and production capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project success.
• Prioritize tasks to meet multiple or fluctuating deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• General knowledge of fabrication processes and tools.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret measuring instruments.
• Strong time management skills to balance competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
• A self-starter attitude with a dependable, flexible, and results-driven work ethic.
