Finance Manager - Manufacturing

Global Supplier | 30-40 Minutes South of the Columbus, IN Metro Area

$120,000+ Base Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a global supplier, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of a large manufacturing facility. This high-impact leadership role will serve as a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial guidance, performance analysis, cost management, and strategic decision support while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a visible role in improving profitability, driving operational excellence, and leading a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all plant accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Partner with plant leadership to analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit improvement
• Monitor performance against budgets, forecasts, and operational goals
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and reporting processes
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing cost reporting
• Prepare and analyze plant financial statements and management reports
• Support capital investment analysis, new business evaluations, and strategic initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Manage local treasury and tax-related activities
• Develop, mentor, and lead the finance and accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Experience leading and developing team members
• ERP system experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Manufacturing finance experience highly preferred
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced certifications are a plus
