Assembler (1st shift; $18/hr)

Located in Sturgis, MI

We are Hiring for mechanical assembly technicians in the Sturgis area.

Schedule:

• First Shift: Monday-Thursday 5 am-3:30 pm; 

Payrate: $18/hr

Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation hire

Assembly Responsibilities:

• Build assemblies from start to finish according to blue prints.
• Operate machines.
• Perform quality checks and documentation
• Verify specifications by measuring/testing completed component
• Read assembly instructions and blueprint specifications; gather needed parts, tools, and materials
• Ensure a clean and tidy workspace

Assembly Qualifications:

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Heavy attention to detail.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using powered hand tools.
• Ability to read Blueprints.
• Personable and professional attitude.
• HS diploma or GED.
