We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operators to join our dynamic Manufcaturing/Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and organization of goods within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure safe and accurate handling of inventory, supporting seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various forklift types, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and reliability are paramount.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shifts: Monday-Friday ( must be flexible to work all shifts)

  • Days 7am 3pm
  • Afternoon 3pm - 11pm
  • Nights 11pm - 7am

Pay: $21 -$25/hour + 4% vacation pay ( based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
  • Safely perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update stock records accurately
  • Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
  • Assist with order picking processes by selecting items according to order specifications with precision
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products for shipment or storage
  • Use basic math skills to verify quantities, measure items, and ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize space utilization and improve workflow efficiency

Skills

  • Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, and valid Forklift license for Reach, Counter balance and Order picker
  • Must have 2 verifiable forklift references from previous employment plus valid license
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence in basic math for counting, measuring, and verifying orders
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and procedures
  • This role is not transit accessible so having a car or reliable transportation is required

Experience:

  • Forklift: 3 years (required)
