About the Company

Express is hiring for a manufacturing company in the Sturgis area. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire role.

SHIFT:

• First Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm; M-Th with occasional Fridays.

ROLE TYPE:

• Contract to hire

PAY: $28-$30/hr

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Operations Supervisor will lead a team responsible for fabrication and assembly. This includes:

• Supervising and directing activities in a complex fabrication environment.
• Monitoring, evaluating, coaching and correcting employee performance and behavior as necessary.
• Assuring proper training and promotes a safety first culture.
• May need to occasionally run a Turret Punch, Brake Press or similar.
• Jumping in to help troubleshoot production issues.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ yrs of production supervision experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
• Experience in a welding/fabrication shop.
• Experience running a Turret Punch, Brake Press and/or TIG welding.
