Press Operator

Located in Hermitage, PA

Salary: $15.00+ based on experience

Express is seeking Press Operators for a company in Hermitage, PA! 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate stamping presses, including installing and aligning dies
• Load and feed steel coils using a forklift or overhead crane
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and die issues and communicate concerns to the Die Shop
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Die setting/press experience preferred
• Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently
• PLC and lean manufacturing experience a plus

Pay: 

• $15-17.00/hr. based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with slight flexibility
