Relief CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $27.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and versatile Relief CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate to support both warehouse operations and delivery routes. This unique position spends the majority of time working in the warehouse, assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and general warehouse operations.

When delivery coverage is needed, this individual will step into a CDL driving role on short notice, loading and delivering products along established routes while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their workday, is comfortable working in both warehouse and driving environments, and can be counted on to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Functions (Primary Responsibility)

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment and delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with stock management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse and operational needs as assigned.

CDL Driving Functions (Relief Coverage)

• Provide route coverage when regular drivers are unavailable.
• Load trucks and organize route paperwork before departure.
• Deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Unload product using carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
• Communicate delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid CDL-B license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong customer service skills.

Preferred

• Previous route delivery experience.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and material-handling equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse during shifts.
• Ability to load and unload products safely.
• Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles frequently throughout the day.
